About The SMS Engine

The SMS Engine is an Australian owned business that was established in 2006 to provide user-friendly SMS solutions. We began by establishing a user-friendly web based solution for sporting organisations. Our clientele included cricket, football, netball and rugby clubs across Australia and the United Kingdom all of whom wanted to relate simple messages to their player and supporter base.

In 2007 we set about creating a simple solution for schools that would allow schools to relate messages to parents and staff. Our solution was designed with the intention of causing the school no additional capital cost.

In mid 2007 our solution was piloted in 4 NSW state schools. Subsequent positive testimonials by school principals lead to other state schools wishing to enter the program.

We currently have over 50 NSW state schools using the system, with plans ahead to offer this system to the entire state. Our vision is to maintain a user-friendly, reliable SMS solution backed by strong customer service and support.
